Before I started on this blog, I did briefly start on the list so I wanted to quickly add my thoughts on what I already listened to and what I am currently working through.
Albums
I listened to two albums. One was “workingman’s dead” by Grateful Dead, the other was “Ask Rufus” by Rufus ft. Chaka Khan. Both of these were new to me. Grateful Dead’s album was fine, I am not sure how much I enjoy Psychedelic Rock outside of a few specific scenarios. I could feel the influences nicely, bluegrass felt like a part of it (something my brain would naively call country in way too many places) and it was fine. It wasn’t for me but I could see how someone could enjoy it.
Ask Rufus was a great album. The singer’s vocal range was incredible and to be honest, this album is definitely why I am glad I am doing this as it is an album I would never opt to listen to. I really did enjoy the music and the last track on the album is really good.
Fiction
I have started Gatsby. I will hold out my thoughts until the end
Video Games
I have actually been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for a while and I am about 60% of the way through the story. I will definitely feel the urge to write a review for this game so again, will hold out
